In June, Mizpah Chapter observed Flag Day, enjoyed a dinner prepared by the Rainbow Girls, honored our Eastern Star Brothers, and celebrated our Chapter Birthday.

As I write this article, District 31 is finalizing arrangements for the Official Visit of our Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron scheduled for Saturday, June 26, at 1:00 p.m. in Santa Maria. Officers from each of the five chapters will perform the ritual work.

A Fourth of July theme meeting is planned for Tuesday, July 6, at 7:30 p.m. Members are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue. Sharon Anderson promises a festive evening.

Mizpah Chapter will be “dark“ on Tuesday, July 20, and Tuesday, August 3. During this “break,” members will be putting the finishing touches on Grand Esther’s Reception scheduled for Sunday, August 22, at 2:00 p.m. in Santa Maria.
