JULY

2010

Brethren,

Our last Stated Meeting dinner was not as well attended as normal, but I feel that was due to the many activities going on that weekend. The Stated Meeting was well attended. On Friday 11 June we had an Officers Meeting to discuss next year’s planning. Some may wonder why we started so early. Next year will be a hard act follow after the Great Year  our Worshipful Master Beall is having so far.  He has put a lot of work into this Year along with the hard work of his wife. There are many activities that we have to plan and Budget for.  The next Officers meeting we will set up our Budget and make our calendar for next Year. So if you have any ideas please call one of the Officers and give them your Ideas.

July is our Constitution Observance we have with the Shrine Club so keep your calendars open.

Our Brother Neblett had his knee surgery last month and is on his way to recovery. Also Mal Godwin had hand surgery and appears to be recovering. Let’s keep them in our prayers. If the is anyone else who isn’t feeling well let the Officers of the Lodge. We do miss our Brethren.

Fraternally,

Larry “Gunny” Rodriguez

Your Senior Warden

JULY

2010

Brethren,

I hope all of you had an opportunity to read the articles in the California Freemason regarding the following issues:  The internet, Penicillin, Radio Waves to Radar, The perfect potato, Speed of light,  Standard Time, and Vaccines.  These were discovered by members of the Masonic scientist for everyday life.  I personally found them to very interesting.  We have had a very busy past month,  the Shrine Potentates visit, the Shrine activity in the Santa Maria Parade, Stated meeting dinner, two 50 year pins, a third degree.  Lastly the making of Richard Dixon the Supreme Senior Custodian for the Bethel No. 339 International Jobs Daughters.   The new lights are up and working fantastically well in the Lodge Room.

We are looking forward to new E.A. Degrees in the future.  I would like to see some interest in the mentor program,  anyone interested please contact me.

Fraternally,

Bill Coughlin Junior Warden

JULY

2010

Brethren,

With the passing of June, and the beginning of July , we’re over the hump, and on the downhill slide into 2011. Our Sr. Warden, Larry Rodriguez is planning his year and the officers are looking to advanced stations in the coming months.

If you have any suggestions for 2011, make sure you let Soon to be Worshipful Rodriguez know.

So far this year our Lodge has Initiated 5, Passed 5, and Raised 1. We’ve also had 4 affiliations. Sadly we’ve also lost 2 brothers. In July we’ll be raising 1, and initiating 2. Lets see what the second half of 2010 holds.

Fraternally,
